The 22nd edition of the National Occupational Medicine Days kicked off on Tuesday evening, November 12, 2024.
The event is organized by the Algerian Association of Occupational Medicine and the Laboratory of Explorations and Research in Health, Environment and Innovation of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sétif, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Minister of Health, and under the supervision of the Wali of the wilaya of Sétif, Mr. Mustapha LIMANI, , accompanied by the Rector of the University of Sétif 1, Pr. Mohamed El-Hadi Latreche.
The event includes conferences, workshops, a round table and various exhibitions.
It aims to explore ways of integrating artificial intelligence and information and communication technologies into the practice of occupational medicine to improve working conditions, monitor employee health and implement preventive practices. It also aims to explore methods of managing health problems associated with strenuous occupations, and the implementation of prevention strategies in the workplace.
Finally, this event highlights the importance of cooperation between occupational medicine and other medical specialties for early and accurate diagnosis of diseases, as well as better healthcare management for workers.
The event runs from Tuesday to Thursday, November 12 to 14, 2024.
