Cuicul is situated in the northeastern region of Sétif and sits at an altitude of 900 meters above the sea level, covering an area of approximately 42 hectares. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, Cuicul traces its origins back to the era of the Roman Emperor Nerva, specifically in 96 and 97 AD.
Additionally, Cuicul houses a museum that exhibits a significant archaeological collection showcasing in particular an impressive mosaic collection of an estimated area of 900 square meters. These mosaics depict scenes of civilized life.
