On Thursday, November 28, 2024, Sétif 1 University and the Algerian Red Crescent of Sétif Province formalized a cooperation and partnership agreement.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Rector, Prof Mohamed El Hadi LATRECHE, and the President of the Sétif Red Crescent, Mr. Yacine BELHADJAR, along with the Vice-Rectors and several members of the humanitarian organization.
This partnership represents a significant milestone in promoting the values of solidarity and humanitarian service within the university community. Its main objectives include:
- Free first-aid training for students and university staff.
- Organizing events and activities focused on humanitarian action and awareness.
- Encouraging national research projects, particularly in disaster management and humanitarian efforts.
