On Wednesday November 13, 2024, a meeting was organized by the National Council for Scientific Research and Technology (CNRST) in the conference room of the Institute of Architecture and Earth Sciences at the University of Sétif 1.
The event, supervised by Mr. Mokhtar Sellami, Director of Studies at the CNRST, and by the Rector, Prof Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, was attended by university executives at all levels, as well as heads of specialties, laboratory directors, researchers and promoters of innovative projects.
At the heart of the meeting was the presentation of the “Ibtikar Algérie” (Ibtikar.info) platform, part of the IAH2027-V2 strategic project. Mr Sellami encouraged innovative researchers and students to register for the national hackathon dedicated to promoting open innovation, which will cover 15 themes deemed to be national priorities.
The event aims to reinforce the commitment of the university and CNRST to supporting innovation, and to encourage young talent and researchers to contribute actively to Algeria's scientific and technological development.
