A workshop was held on July 14, 2025, at Ferhat Abbas University Setif 1, focusing on the management of archives in higher education institutions.
Led by Mr. Omar Saadna, Deputy Director of Archives at the Ministry of Higher Education, the event gathered administrative officials from universities across eastern Algeria.
Discussions highlighted the strategic role of documentation in decision-making, the need for precise and secure archive management, and the shift toward digital archiving.
The university’s draft document management schedule and a newly developed digital platform for archive handling were presented.
