On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the University of Sétif 1 – Ferhat Abbas held a workshop on internationalization strategies in higher education. The event featured Ms. Samira Khemkhem,
Vice President of the University of Strasbourg, and Ms. Samira Chader from the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education, who participated remotely. The workshop was opened by the Rector, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, and attended by various university officials. Ms. Khemkhem presented Strasbourg’s internationalization experience, focusing on academic exchange mechanisms and Erasmus+ funding opportunities. The workshop is set to continue on Thursday with sessions highlighting successful international case studies.
