On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Kamel Baddari, presided over the closing ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year at Ferhat Abbas University Sétif 1.
In the presence of regional and national officials, the event celebrated university modernization efforts and national academic achievements. The Minister highlighted major accomplishments in Sétif, including 35 micro-enterprises, 40 patents turned into products, and 30 start-ups. He also awarded diplomas to the first master's graduates in quantum computing and honored institutions such as Kasdi Merbah University and Béjaïa University for their outstanding achievements.
