On Sunday, February 01, 2026, in the afternoon, the extraordinary session of the Scientific Council of the University of Sétif 1 – Ferhat Abbas was held at the Mouloud Kacem Naït Belkacem Conference Hall, under the chairmanship of the Rector, Professor Latreche Mohamed El Hadi, and in the presence of the Council members.
The meeting addressed several items on the agenda, starting with the approval of the results of the Doctorate entrance examination (third cycle), within the framework of the National Doctoral Schools aimed at enhancing visibility, related to the field of biological sciences.
In the same context, a report on the conducted doctoral competitions was presented, along with various preparations for upcoming competitions.
The Council also discussed several additional matters related to scientific and research affairs.
