On February 9, 2026, the Rector of the University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas chaired an extended coordination meeting to review the progress of the awareness campaign related to Ministerial Decision 1275 (“University Degree – Business Creation Project”).
The meeting brought together academic and administrative officials to discuss engagement in the national campaign “Replace your thesis… create your enterprise,” aimed at promoting entrepreneurship within the university environment.
Discussions also focused on support mechanisms to help final-year students transform their graduation projects into start-ups, micro-enterprises, or patented innovations.
