On November 10, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences between the University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas and Digi-Roots XR, a company specialized in the development of medical simulators and virtual/augmented reality technologies.

The agreement was signed by the University Rector, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, and Mr. Drici Rafik Abdelmalek, the company’s General Manager, in the presence of university executives and faculty members participating in the training day dedicated to the virtual dissection platform TechRIH.

This partnership aims to support the integration of immersive medical simulators into training programs, organize joint workshops and training sessions, and develop innovative digital resources for medical education.
