Ferhat Abbas University Sétif 1 held, on October 20–21, 2025, the 1st National Conference on “Towards Environmental Sustainability of Public Spaces”, organized by the Institute of Architecture and Earth Sciences in collaboration with the Housing and Environment Laboratory.
The conference brought together researchers and experts to discuss urban transformation, smart cities, public space management, and sustainable environmental planning.
The event aims to strengthen applied research in environmental sustainability and promote interdisciplinary collaboration between architecture, urban planning, and social sciences for sustainable cities.
