The President of the Eastern Universities Regional “CRUEST”, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, presided over the installation ceremony of the Regional Electoral Commission for the renewal of teaching members of the Constitutional Court this Monday, November 4, 2024, in the presence of the Permanent Secretary General of the CRUEst and the Secretary General of the University of Sétif 1.
The commission is tasked with supervising, managing, and overseeing the organization of the election of professors of constitutional law to serve as members of the Constitutional Court. It is supported by a technical secretariat composed of qualified administrative staff to ensure the smooth progress of the electoral process. It is worth noting that university professors specializing in constitutional law are represented on the Constitutional Court by three members, with one professor from each regional conference.
