The closing ceremony of the "Artificial Intelligence for Society" Hackathon, aimed at developing innovative digital solutions to improve cancer patient care, took place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Moloud Kacem Nait Belkacem Auditorium of the University of Sétif 1.
Presided over by Rector Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, the event brought together vice-rectors, faculty deans, institute directors, as well as officials from the university incubator, the Technology and Innovation Support Center, the Systems and Networks Center, jury members, participating students, and members of the university community.
In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, preparing a creative and proactive generation capable of providing concrete and effective solutions. He also praised the efforts of the university incubator and the organizing committee for making this edition a success.
