As part of its efforts to enhance and consolidate the scientific resources produced by higher education institutions, the Ministry is pleased to announce the pre-launch of the national platform "Algerian HAL", accessible via the following link:

This initiative aims to:
- Centralize and enhance theses, dissertations, and scientific publications hosted on university DSpace platforms;
- Ensure greater national and international visibility of Algerian scientific production;
- Guarantee interoperability with international platforms through the OAI-PMH protocol and a unified metadata format (OAI_DC).
To support this initiative, institutions are invited to:
- Update their DSpace platforms to ensure that metadata complies with project requirements;
- Complete the following metadata fields without exception: Publisher, Title, Creator, Subject, Link, Description, Date, Type, Format;
- Notify the Ministry upon completion of the update no later than April 15, 2025, via the following form:

Examples of compliant platforms are available at University of Ghardaia, University of Constantine 1, and University of Tlemcen.
🔔 The active participation of all institutions is strongly encouraged to ensure the success of this strategic national platform.
