Ferhat Abbas Sétif 1 University hosted the 16ᵗʰ International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance from May 13 to 15, 2025, under the theme: “Islamic Finance Industry after 50 Years of Practice.” Organized with the International Association of Islamic Economics, the event brought together over 50 participants from 20 countries. Discussions focused on the evolution of Islamic finance, innovation, regulatory frameworks, and its contribution to sustainable development. A cooperation agreement was signed with Al Baraka Bank.
