On May 15, 2025, the University of Sétif 1 Ferhat Abbas concluded the 16th International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance, held under the theme "50 Years of Islamic Finance Practice.
" The three-day event gathered over 150 participants, including 50 international researchers, to discuss the latest developments in the field. The closing session featured honors for contributors and key recommendations for advancing Islamic finance amid digital and economic shifts.
