On May 15, 2025, Setif 1 University hosted a study day titled “Recent Developments in Arabic Language Computing.” The event, organized by the Faculty of Science,
brought together experts and students to explore AI applications in Arabic NLP. Topics included transformer-based models, Arabic language resources, and dialect processing. The day featured key lectures and a poster session showcasing PhD research projects.
