The guidance unit at University of Ferhat Abbas Sétif 1 continues its efforts to support students with innovative ideas and projects, within the framework of implementing amended Decision No. 008 supplementing Decision 1275,
which allows graduation theses to be developed as business creation projects.
On January 25, 2026, an evaluation and orientation session was organized at the university incubator for students from the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine, with the participation of the Vice-Rector for Pedagogy and university interface managers.
During the session, proposed projects were evaluated and students received guidance to develop them into startups, small enterprises, or patent applications.
Through these efforts, the university aims to support the national objective of transforming 80% of graduation projects into wealth-creating economic enterprises that contribute to national economic growth.
