The Rector of Sétif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas, Prof. Latreche Mohamed El Hadi, chaired a meeting of the University’s Board of Directors on Thursday, 17 September 2026, in the presence of the Secretary General, Vice-Rectors, Deans of Faculties and Directors of Institutes, as well as the heads of several university structures.
The meeting focused on the final preparations for the new academic year and the monitoring of its progress, as well as major strategic areas, including innovation and startups, quality assurance, digitalization, the English language and the Study in Algeria programme.
Various matters related to the operation of the University’s different structures were also discussed.
