The “17 October 1961” Conference Hall at Sétif 2 University – Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hosted, on Monday, September 22, 2025, the official opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 academic year, attended by the Wali of Sétif, local authorities, university directors, and academic partners.
Participants followed the national address by Minister of Higher Education Prof. Kamel Baddari, emphasizing the key role of universities in development, innovation, and digital sovereignty. Preparations for welcoming over 17,000 new students and the achievements of the past academic year were also highlighted.
