On Monday, April 6th, 2026, Sétif 1 University Ferhat Abbas hosted the launch of the third national training session on Quality Management Systems based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard, held at the headquarters of the Eastern Regional Conference of Universities.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, in the presence of regional conference officials, trainers, and representatives from 39 universities selected as pilot institutions in this first national initiative.
In this context, the university’s Quality Assurance Unit, represented by its head Dr. Samia Kharchi, is actively participating in this four-day training session taking place from April 6th to April 9th, 2026.
