The University of Sétif 1 – Ferhat Abbas took part in the first edition of the National Research Products Exhibition (PNR EXPO), inaugurated on January 31, 2026, at the Abdelhafid Ihaddaden Science and Technology Hub in Sidi Abdellah, in the presence of several government officials.
The university showcased three research projects aligned with national priority sectors:
- Hyaluronic acid production (Prof. Bouzid Djihane);
- Design and manufacturing of a 3D-printed bolus for radiotherapy patients (Prof. Kherfi Fayçal);
- Enhancing the performance of solar energy storage batteries (Prof. Habb Hmams Farid).
The exhibition featured 63 research products in the fields of health, energy, and food security. On the sidelines of the event, bilateral meetings were held to explore opportunities for partnerships, technology transfer, and industrial valorization of research outputs.
