The Université Ferhat Abbas Sétif 1 organized a cultural and linguistic event titled “Ramadan in English” on February 16, 2026, through its Intensive Language Teaching Center, as part of its training program.
The event, launched by the University Director, brought together university officials and staff. It aims to promote the use of English in campus life, highlight Algerian cultural heritage related to Ramadan, support international students’ integration, and enhance students’ communication and leadership skills.
The program featured seven interactive workshops, including English educational games, a “Ramadan and Medicine” corner, craft activities, traditional recipes, a dedicated Ramadan space, and the “The English Khatam Soulaiman” competition, offering an educational environment that combines language learning and culture in Sétif.
