Sétif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas, represented by the Faculty of Sciences, held the 2nd Scientific Day on the Chemistry of the Future on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at the Mouloud Kacem Nait Belkacem Auditorium. The event focused on natural products, synthesis and artificial intelligence.
Chaired by the University Director, Professor Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, the event brought together academics, researchers and students for scientific lectures, presentations and research poster sessions.
The programme covered three main themes: natural products and green extraction, modern organic synthesis and its medical and industrial applications, and artificial intelligence in organic chemistry. The event aimed to promote interdisciplinary research, innovation and sustainable solutions in chemistry.
