On 13 October 2026, Sétif Governor Mr Mustapha Limani chaired the ceremony marking the end of the 2025–2026 academic year and the opening of the 2026–2027 academic year, in the presence of University Director Professor Mohamed El Hadi Latreche and members of the university community.
The event highlighted the university’s main achievements, including more than 8,500 graduates and progress in research and innovation. The new academic year welcomes nearly 47,000 students from 30 nationalities.
