From 18 to 22 October 2026, Sétif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas is organising open days at its university library under the slogan “The University Library: Your Gateway to Knowledge and Excellence”.
The event was inaugurated on 18 October by the University Director, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, at the Central Library. It aims to introduce the university community to the library's facilities, services and documentary resources, while encouraging students, lecturers and researchers to make use of its printed and digital collections.
The programme includes presentations on the National Online Documentation System (SNDL), the university's DSpace repository and digital platforms, as well as introductory sessions on bibliographic research and the use of the library's online catalogue. Exhibitions of printed and digital books are also organised for visitors.
