As part of the decentralized cooperation project between the Tomsk Region (Russia) and the Province of Sétif, Sétif 1 University - Ferhat Abbas welcomed, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, an official delegation led by Mr. Vasily Potemkin, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss cooperation prospects in higher education, scientific research, innovation, and technology transfer. Both sides expressed their commitment to establishing a long-term partnership through joint projects and the preparation of a cooperation agreement.
The delegation also visited the University's Incubator and the Manufacturing and Modeling Laboratory, where it was introduced to the university's innovation and student entrepreneurship support ecosystem.
