Ferhat Abbas Sétif 1 University organized, on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Faculty of Sciences, the local qualifying competition for the 2nd edition of the National University Mathematics Olympiad, whose finals will be hosted by the university from April 13 to 15, 2026.
Supervised by a jury of university professors, the competition brought together 25 students, who took part in selection tests to identify the best candidates to represent the university at the national level.
This event aims to promote academic excellence, highlight students’ competencies in mathematics, and strengthen scientific exchange among students from national universities.
