SCImago Institutions Rankings: the University of Sétif 1 climbs the rankings

Following the publication of the results of the 2024 edition of the SCImago Institutions Rankings, the University of Sétif 1- Ferhat Abbas was ranked second nationally "Q1" among 48 institutions, a remarkable improvement on the previous edition when it was ranked 11th nationally.

The ranking of SCImago institutions is based on the results of 3 main indicators: research (50%), innovation (30%) and societal impact (20%), which are in turn divided into numerous sub-indices.
