On April 9, 2025, Ferhat Abbas University Setif 1 held a tribute ceremony honoring Professor Lahcene KRACHE on the occasion of his retirement. The event was presided over by Rector Prof. Mohamed El-Hadi LATRECHE, in the presence of university officials, faculty, and staff.
The Rector praised Professor KRACHE's exceptional professional and personal qualities, highlighting his long-standing commitment and valuable contributions as Vice-Rector for External Relations, Cooperation, Communication, and Scientific Events. On this occasion, he was awarded the University Medal in recognition of his distinguished service.
The ceremony concluded with a moment of silence in memory of Abdelnour MESSAOUDI, a staff member of the Printing and Audiovisual Center, who had recently passed away.
