On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Rector of Sétif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, presided over the installation ceremony of Prof. Haroun Mohamed Fahim as Dean of the Faculty of Science.
The event took place in the faculty meeting room, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the university, vice-rectors, deans, institute directors, vice-deans, heads of departments, and several university officials.
The Rector congratulated Prof. Haroun Mohamed Fahim for the trust placed in him and wished him every success in his new position. For his part, Prof. Haroun expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing efforts in serving both the faculty and the university.
