The Scientific Council of the University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas held an extraordinary session on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Mouloud Kacem Naït Belkacem auditorium, chaired by the Rector, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, in the presence of Council members.
The meeting addressed several agenda items, including the approval of the results of the PhD (third cycle) entrance examination within the framework of the National Doctoral Schools for Visibility Promotion, in the field of Biological Sciences.
A review of the doctoral competitions already conducted was presented, along with preparations for upcoming sessions.
The Council also discussed various matters related to scientific and research activities.
