On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Setif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas welcomed two new international PhD students from Iraq, enrolled in Economic Sciences and Communication Systems, as part of the “Study in Algeria” program aimed at strengthening the attractiveness of Algerian universities.
The students were received by the University’s Secretary General, alongside the International Students Welcome Office, and were provided with all necessary support to complete their registration smoothly.
They represent the 11th and 12th international students to join the university through this program, following the arrival of ten students from various nationalities.
