On April 24, 2025, Ferhat Abbas Sétif 1 University organized a ceremony to honor its teachers promoted to the rank of "Distinguished Professor", as well as retired professors awarded this honorary title. Fifteen professors were recognized for their outstanding academic careers and significant contributions to the university’s scientific and institutional development.
