The Scientific Council of the University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas held an extraordinary session on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Mouloud Kacem Naït Belkacem auditorium, chaired by the Rector, Prof. Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, in the presence of Council members.

On Sunday, January 25, 2026, the University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas, through its Social Services Committee, organized a ceremony honoring faculty members and staff who retired in 2025.

Sétif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas is organizing a national competition for admission to third-cycle doctoral training (PhD) under the LMD system, for the 2025–2026 academic year.
